      Customer Service Advisor
      Scarborough

      Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

      Hours: Full Time
      Contract: Permanent
      Location: Head Office, Scarborough
      Mainline Menswear are a leading online retailer of men’s designer clothing in the UK. Based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire we are currently looking for a hardworking, friendly individual to join our team reporting into the Customer Service Manager.

      We are an established retailer of high-end designer clothing carrying over 100 different brands including Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Vivienne Westwood and CP Company. We are looking for someone who has a passion for fashion and an interest in the brands we retail to provide first class customer service dealing with a variety of customer queries. The customer service team deal with a large range of complaints and queries. The department is open 8am-10pm across 7 days and requires adequate staffing at all times.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Answering customer telephone calls and dealing with a range of queries/complaints.
      • Answering customer queries/complaints using an instant chat service.
      • Replying to customer emails.
      • Replying to customers social media queries via the companies social media pages.
      • Setting up customer orders.
      • Dealing with refunds / exchanges.
      • Taking payments and refunding via SagePay, PayPal and Amazon Pay.
      • Liaising with third party courier company’s to resolve delivery queries.
      • Tracking parcels and speaking to delivery courier to chase up deliveries when required.
      • Using an internal built system to answer various queries/order details.
      • Measuring garments to provide accurate sizing for customers.

      About You
      We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience in a customer service environment to join our team reporting into the Customer Service Manager. The candidate must be competent working on the telephones speaking to customers and be a competent PC user. They should also be able to efficiently multi task during busier periods to complete a higher workload. Required to work on a rota basis covering shifts Monday-Sunday 8am-10pm. Working on a shift pattern with some flexibility required in order to cover holidays/sickness.
      • Requirement to work Bank Holidays as needed.
      • Requirement to work evening/weekends as needed.
      • Experience in telephony customer service is essential.
      • PC Literate
      • Good communications skills and the ability to remain calm and efficient during extremely busy times.
      • Friendly and outgoing manner.
      • Accurate, thorough and well organised with excellent attention to details.
      • Happy to work as part of a small friendly team but also able to work alone on individual tasks.

      Front End Web Developer
      Scarborough

      Job Title: Front End Web Developer

      ROLE OVERVIEW
      Mainline Menswear is one of the largest independent retailers of men’s designer clothing in the UK, carrying all of the biggest names in the world of fashion and clothing. In line with continual company growth we are looking to recruit a talented Front End Web Developer to join us. Working within the existing web development team and reporting to the Head of Development the successful applicant will be responsible for helping to maintain and develop the companies’ websites and in-house systems. You will be a bright, driven and energetic individual who can work alone or collaboratively to achieve project deadlines and targets.

      Located on the outskirts of Scarborough, close to the A64, Seamer train station and public transport with free parking.

      The role is full time, office based, and the working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
      Competitive Salary, Dependent on Experience & Skillset

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
      Help maintain and develop the front facing elements of the company’s website and app.
      Enhance the browsing and shopping experience for a wide variety of users around the world.
      Work with the UX team and tools to test and launch changes and new features.
      Advise on design and usability best practice for internal systems.
      Understand and adopt design best practice for a retail eCommerce website.
      Become a key part of the department’s and companies’ ongoing growth plans.

      SKILLS
      Experience and expertise in web development is preferred but not essential as we would be willing to interview high calibre graduates.
      Basic knowledge in at least two of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL.
      Knowledge of Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Node.js, Angular2, Typescript, RESTFUL APIs and working within an Agile Workflow would be advantageous but not necessary.
      Must be able to self-organise and manage / plan your own time effectively.
      Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred but not essential.

      Back End Web Developer

In line with continual company growth we are looking to recruit a talented Back End Web Developer to join us. Working within the existing web development team and reporting to the Head of Development the successful applicant will be responsible for helping to maintain and develop the companies’ websites, databases and in-house systems. You will be a bright, driven and energetic individual who can work alone or collaboratively to achieve project deadlines and targets.

      Basic knowledge in at least two of the following: MYSQL, MSSQL, PHP, JSON, XML
      Knowledge of RESTFUL and/or SOAP APIs, Node.JS, Big Query, Kubernetes, Web Infrastructure Security and working within an Agile Workflow would be advantageous but not necessary.
      Must be able to self-organise and manage / plan your own time effectively.
      Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred but not essential.

      Warehouse Operative
      Scarborough

      Job Title: Warehouse Operative

      Mainline Menswear are a leading online retailer of men’s designer clothing in the UK. Based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire we are currently looking for a hardworking, friendly individual to join our warehouse team reporting into a Team Leader.
      We are an established retailer of high-end designer clothing carrying over 100 different brands including Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Vivienne Westwood and CP Company. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock and meet order delivery deadlines. The warehouse is open 6am-10pm across 7 days with reduced hours across the weekend and requires adequate staffing at all times.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Pick orders using the warehouse scanning system and picking trolleys.
      • Process Single and Multiple Orders separately.
      • Look into any stock anomalies.
      • Check the quality of the items that are being dispatched including taking the time to repackage poorly presented items.
      • Dispatch orders ensuring all items are scanned and placed into the correct size packaging, sealed and stickered correctly.
      • Operate warehouse shutters to accept and unload deliveries.
      • Scan all boxes received on any deliveries using warehouse scanning system.
      • Check off stock that has been delivered following current procedures. Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader.
      • Ensure the correct sample size is taken into Date Entry for all new items.
      • Sticker, scan the manufacturers barcode and locate all new items.
      • Undertake Stock taking as and when required.
      • Fold photo stock and put away in the correct locations using WIP1.
      • Assist the Returns Department by putting returns away using WIPW2.
      • Condense items into new locations to create space for new season products.
      • Replace any damaged storage boxes as required.
      • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse at all times.
      • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
